NOTE:  Parking and crating space is limited.
Please be prepared to crate out of your car if necessary. 

CGC TESTING
 (All-breeds and mixed breeds welcome!)

Test conducted by Deb Maicach  (all-breeds and mixed breeds welcome!)  CGC will start no earlier than 10:30 am and will continue until we run out of dogs, or at 3:00, whichever comes first.   Registration will be on-going throughout the day. 

  • All dogs must be on leash with buckle or slip collars of leather, fabric or chain. No pinch collars or head halters. Leash must be leather or fabric, 4 to 6 feet in length – no Flexi Leads.

  • Owner should provide the dog’s brush.

  • Food cannot be used as a reward during testing.

  • Verbal praise and encouragement are allowed and encouraged!

Information on CGC testing procedures can be found at: http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/. Upon successful completion of the evaluation, the handler will be provided with the form to send in to AKC to receive your certificate.

Sign Up sheets will be posted at the Testing Area. Please reserve your spot in advance or wait in line to be tested on a "first come, first serve/as time permits" basis. Time slots can be reserved in advance of the test by contacting Deb Maicach at mckinneydeb@mac.com

OBEDIENCE SHOW N GO

(All-breeds and mixed breeds welcome!)

  • Open & Utility Registration Time:  7:15 am.  Open and Utility to start at 8:00 am in separate rings.

  • Novice, Pre-Novice & Grad Registration begins at 10:00 am.  Judging will begin after Open & Utility, but  no earlier than 10:30 am.

  • Cost:  $8.00 first entry, $6.00 second entry same dog (entry includes group stays) $2.00 for additional group stays.

Each dog will be allowed one run per class. Reruns will be allowed as time permits.
